Contrary to what masses believe, being exceptional or highly effective is not just the reflection of how many accolades you have. Being rich is just to have an abundance of money and it doesn’t make anyone exceptional in any way. But to be wealthy is to have physical, mental, spiritual, as well as financial abundance. People who are highly effective seems to have it all. They exhibit exceptional habits consistently regardless of all the externalities. This trait alone sets these highly effective people apart from the general masses. They succeed and conquer while others cope with their losses and failures.

1. Clear vision

A lot of people out there have no clue as to what they want in life, nor they do anything about it. Establishing your vision, value and purpose is the most important thing of all the things. Then, align your actions to your internal standards. Having a clear vision simplifies a lot of things in life and prevents you from being easily distracted or overwhelmed.

It is an ability or rather a mental quality to empower individuals to confront danger and pain. In short, it gives you, the will to fight when others are giving up and the power to take actions when others are losing gut.

1. Clear vision

People who are exceptionally effective seek to have a much clearer vision than the average individuals. If you have clarity in your vision, you are likelier to stay on the right path. For instance, exceptional people do not sit around and wait for the end of the year to review their actions. They assess their performance as they do anything or on a daily basis. You can gain more clarity by analyzing with What? Why? and How? This will help you eliminate distractions and cloudiness around your goals.

For example, focus on these four: skill, self, social, and service. Ask yourself pertinent questions that will help you gain clarity. Questions like, what skills do you want to develop? How do you describe your ‘ideal self’? How do you want to socialize? and what problems do you want to solve with your service?

While attempting to answer these questions, you will realize that you are getting a better and clearer vision, giving you an edge over others.

2. Enhance your productivity

This is a factor that will be evident to people outside, as to how you optimize your inputs to maximize the output. One great and proven way to enhance productivity is to focus on the main crux and dismiss the inconsequential. If you have a clear vision as to where do you want to end up, you automatically position yourself accordingly to achieve the best results. You should know some things like, what are my next five moves? in retrospect, what are the great moves which lead you to the place where you stand? and what are the skills you should look forward to learning to become better at what you do? These question will help you combat distractions and focus better

3. How to break inertia and gain momentum

Exceptionally effective individuals are always on a lookout for new skills that can help them. They are impatient to learn and can not waste time doing anything. For that matter, they aren’t even wiped out in the middle of whatever they are doing. According to research, most of the people are wiped out by 3 pm in the evenings, but not the exceptional performers. The key is to acknowledge, accept, and gain control over transitions. They have the ability to take quick breaks, meditate, close eyes, and unwind. If you want to learn to break inertia and gain momentum, find out your psychological blockades and win over them.

4. Demonstrate Courage

The following are ways in which you demonstrate courage in yourself:

Always take stand for yourself, never think twice to share the truth about yourself. Communicate your visions and ambitions to people.

Understand the struggle. You ought to pursue what you want to regardless if it is easy or difficult. Be the one who put up the fight till the end, especially when others have given up.
